Our leadership team boasts over 40 years' of domain experience in the UK General Insurance / Insurtech space, with a practical and critical understanding of the techology and insurance distribution ecosystems.

Matt Glenn

Director Matt founded Codeswoop in 2022 after a long career in software development, primarily in the UK General Insurance and Insurtech space. He has over 20 years' experience in the industry, including 10 years at Open GI where he was Head of Software Development for their Digital delivery teams, and 7 years as eCommerce Architect for a leading direct insurer. Matt has a deep understanding of the technology and insurance distribution ecosystems, and is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. Quoteswoop is a culmination of his experience and vision to create a solution that truly meets the needs of brokers and insurers alike.

Simon Hughes

Director Simon joined Quoteswoop in September 2025, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in the UK General Insurance & Technology sectors. His career includes 18 years at Open GI, a £60m-turnover leading UK Insurtech, where he spent 11 years as Sales & Marketing Director, leading a team of 50 resources generating more than £20m in annualised revenues. Subsequent to this, Simon spent 4 years at Open GI as COO, responsible for solutions development, customer delivery and support with a team of more than 300 resources in the UK (4 locations), Poland and North Macedonia to 27,000 end-users across 1,000 companies.
